Privacy policy
Privacy is the product, so this page is short and in plain language. Last updated: 11 July 2026.
Who we are
GrafMails is a private email service operated by Grafclouds. Mail servers are hosted in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). You can reach us any time via the contact form.
This website
- No third-party requests. Fonts, images and video on this site are served from our own domain. No Google Fonts, no embedded players, no CDNs of other companies. Check your browser's network tab — we invite it.
- No tracking. No analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no fingerprinting, no tracking cookies.
- Server logs. Like every web server, ours keeps standard technical logs (IP address, requested page, time) for security and troubleshooting. They are not used for profiling and are rotated routinely.
Your mailbox
- We do not read, scan, profile or monetize your mail. No ad targeting, no AI training on your conversations, no selling or sharing of data. You pay for the mailbox — you are the customer, not the product.
- What we store: your mail (see how encryption works for exactly what is encrypted and how), your account details (email address, display name), and the technical logs any mail server needs to fight spam and abuse (connection metadata).
- What email inherently reveals: when you mail someone on another provider, that provider receives the message under its own policies — that's how email works, and we won't pretend otherwise.
Your rights
- Access & portability: your mailbox speaks standard IMAP — you can export all of your mail at any time with any mail client.
- Deletion: ask us to close your mailbox and we delete it, including backups on their normal rotation schedule.
- EU/GDPR: our servers are in Germany and we honor GDPR data-subject requests. Contact us and we'll respond promptly.
Disclosure
We disclose data only when legally compelled by a valid order applicable to us, and only what the order specifically requires. We do not volunteer data to anyone.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and material changes will be announced to affected customers by mail.
